Do you enjoy road trips?  Driving the west coast is quite an experience-seeing the topography change, enjoying the ocean, stopping in coastal towns and cities makes for a fantastic vacation. Just think for a minute how great this would be if you didn’t have to drive? Last year my husband and I took Amtrak from Seattle to San Diego.  On the way we stopped in Portland  and on to California where we made a number of stops including Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo and San Diego.  We loved not having to worry about transportation while exploring beautiful places.

Do you love cruises?  If so, you can take a similar trip with all the relaxation and cruise amenities in addition to visiting interesting ports of call!  Pacific Coast cruises will offer you both!  There are many varieties from  a short 3 days up to two weeks or more.  Many of these trips start in Vancouver, BC and some also sail into Mexico. Princess Cruises is an expert on these scenic excursions.

Princess is an established California-based cruise operator that offers a number of Pacific Coast cruises covering ports in Canada, the US and at times in Ensenada.  Usually there are 4 or more stops in California as well.  The ships are comfortable and well-run with excellent dining, entertainment and various activities. One of their most appealing features are their prices.  During their sales, and they have many of them, you can often purchase one of these cruises in the 250.00 to 350.00 range.  Check their website frequently as sales are common.
