When it comes to wildlife outdoor touring there are many choices!  Over the last few years they have become increasingly popular – it is something out of the ordinary! Seeing flora and fauna you have never seen before while simultaneously learning about a new location is an adventure  different from tours of  famous cities.  It is not necessarily better but it does provide a unique look at foreign (and sometimes NOT so foreign!) locations that may not be seen otherwise.

Natural Habitat Adventures  is a company whose focus is entirely on natural locations.  You are the beneficiary of their knowledge and experience!  You can expect the following on their tours:

-Conservation through exploration –  Observe and enjoy the experience and leave nothing behind.

-Their itineraries are unique –  These tours are not run-of-the-mill -they are carefully created to provide a singular encounter.

-Small Groups – An average of 9 participants guarantees a more personal wildlife experience.

-Remote camps and small lodges -No chain hotels…or hotels of any type!  In fact their idea of luxury is about the experience itself.

–Guides – These folks are experts and it shows

This company does have cruises and they partner with National Geographic/Lindblad for their cruise voyages.  Their Galapagos tours are a good example of this partnership.  In fact this partnership also extends to many expedition cruises.  They also support the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).  All of their tours are not traditional cruises (or cruises of any type) but they do have an African Riverboat Adventure. If you have never been to Africa this may be the place to start!

These tours are more expensive than many competitors, but the knowledge and in-depth experience may just make it worth the difference!  Take a look and see what you think!

  1. We like this company’s ideas but their prices prevent many of us from hiring them. Are there similar companys that cost less?
