Banff

A Canadian tourist town high in the Rockies, Banff rarely exceeds temperatures in the low 70’s.  The town itself is full of interesting shops and restaurants   The real attraction, however, is  the canoeing, rafting, hiking and and other outdoor activities you can really enjoy without a blistering 95 degree sun! If you are a golfer, you will love the Fairmont’s golf course, surrounded by mountains, with the occasional deer or other animal crossing .The Fairmont Hotel (pictured) is worth the splurge. It is nearly as stunning as the mountainous surroundings-quite a feat.
