Vancouver

vancouver2

While I am not a big-city type gal there are a few I really do like:  Denver, Seattle, Santa Fe.  And then there is Vancouver.  I have been there twice, both times in summer and I loved it.  I think my next trip will be a different season–perhaps autumn.  So I have been looking around, reading up on Autumn in Vancouver.  Let me share some of what I have found.

Stanley Park, which is wonderful  in summer, is one place you can count on for colored foliage. With temperatures in the high 50’s to mid-60s, it’s a great time to take a hike.  For views of the city’s colors, think about hiking up Burnaby Mountain which is right outside the city.  Sunsets are said to be especially beautiful from there.  Capilano Park has a treetop adventure trail and cliff walk if you don’t mind the heights!

Enjoy Harvest Haus or the Harrison Pumpkin Festival and its haunted houses.  There is also the Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival as well as the Circo Osorio Circus.
