There is nothing like traveling by rail! What makes it so much fun? Planes will get you there and they are faster. Trains are slower but they are more about the journey than the destination! They are the very definition of slow travel – sit back and watch the world go by. Quite often, the world you are watching is a visual delight. Enjoy it! Take a nap when you get sleepy. Read a book for a while. It’s all good!

Now the Rocky Mountaineer also has trips through the American west. It’s your choice-the Canadian Rockies or the American ones. Either way you will have a classic rail experience!
