Charleston Anyone?

Hi folks,

Today is the last day of January and it’s time to think about taking a long weekend.  Any reason will do but Valentine’s Day is a great one!  Taking a midwinter break at this time of year is a fabulous idea!  It doesn’t need to be long or far away, 3-4 days will work just fine.  Today I am going to spotlight Charleston, South Carolina. Convenient to those of us in the southeast, it is also a short flight from nearly anywhere on the East coast.

Charleston, the beautiful SC port city, is full of history, scenery, antebellum architecture, fabulous food  and more.  Across the water is Fort Sumter, site of the first shots in the Civil War.  Visit the Kiawah River and keep your eyes out for wildlife or take a boat ride.  The French Quarter and Battery districts are elegant , stroll the streets  passing pastel colored homes and cobblestone sidewalks.  Look out for Rainbow Row on East Bay St which is one of the best photography locations in the city!

The food is luscious and distinctive.  In fact you can take a culinary tour that will leave your mouth watering!  You can refer to your restaurant guide(which I will provide you) and have a sumptuous meal.  Another enjoyable excursion is the Ghost Tour.  Some consider parts of Charleston haunted.  Take the tour and make up your OWN mind.  I can book these for you before you depart!

Hotels are available in a multitude of price ranges.  Let me know what you are looking for and we will find the perfect place for you! Get up with me with questions or to plan your fabulous trip!
