Despite the recent warmth, winter has a few more tricks up her sleeve!  Eventually though summer will be here and as hard as it may be to believe, we will want to escape!   I am going to jump the calendar forward and name a few cool places that  you will love when the dog days of August arrive!

Glacier National Park – Located deep in the Montana mountains, is one of the greenest places we have seen outside of Ireland.  The average high In July and August is 70 degrees!  Make sure you take a tour on the Going-To-the-Sun-Road!  Wild and beautiful, this is a place you definitely want to see!

Seattle – With an average summer temperature of 75 degrees, this walkable city has a great northwestern vibe.  Check out the markets, climb the Space Needle, and make sure to see the Chihuly glass exhibit!

South America – You could also consider visiting the southern hemisphere and enjoy their (moderate) winter.  Think about South America.  The average August temperature is 62 in Buenos Aires and 58 in Santiago.  Visit Vina Del Mar, a lovely beach resort in Chile. While it will probably be cool to swim, it will be wonderful to beach-bum around!

Stay tuned for the next edition – coming soon!
