Alaska is a wonderful place at all times of the year. One of my fondest memories is the Alask cruise we took as a family. I need to write about that but today I have a different topic!
Juneau Alaska, which averages 62 degrees in the summer, is enthusiastically celebrated by the locals! Join in with them- the white nights are perfect for a pick-up game of baseball or a hike in the nearby mountains. Want something less strenuous? The salmon are running, the whales are migrating home from Hawaii and the cool air is alive with promise! This is NOT your average American town in July and the differences are precisely the reasons you will enjoy it!
